band biography sennen (nl) is a four-piece instrumental band from the netherlands. their music can be classified as 'edgy guitar driven jazz-like uptempo postrock with silky brass, exotic rhythms and grunting bass, plunged into an erratic atmosphere'. the band started in 2000 as a group of friends bound by their love for shoegazing and post-rock music. their first demo/ep 'periphery' was recorded in summer 2004. 3 years later their first official release, 'automatic writing' hit the charts. this mini-album is licensed under 'creative commons' and is available for free at simuze sennen is currently working on new material to be released in 2010.
